Your History with the breed: I have been priviledged to live with, show, breed and do Agility with Great Danes for over 20 years. I also Judge Great Danes as a breed specialist. I was the first person in the UK to routinely hip score my Danes, and also perform other health checks. I have bred UK and International Champions, and two Reserve World Champions (one of which is now 10 years old - and is the mother of Thor). I have bred Danes that have lived to 14 years old. My aim, is to produce a litter when I want something myself - and for each litter to improve the breed in terms of temperament, health, long life and correctness to the breed standard.
Details of litters previously sired: Thor is the sire of several litters, obviously not all listed below but including:- Top Puppy 2007 Stagbatch Soulmate for Life JW, winner of Junior Warrant, Kennel Club Stud Book number, Res CC, Best In Show, Best Puppy In Show and also Group Placed at Championship shows. 1st Crufts Junior dog 2008. Stagbatch Sound of Music, many wins at Championship Shows, 2nd Crufts Junior bitch 2008. Also Best In Show winner Ebonory Name In Lights for Yaresville, Kennel Club Studbook qualified, and multiple Best In Show winner.
Requirements for visiting Bitches: If possible, plenty of notice! Prior discussion and pedigree details, and if time a swab. Kennel Club registered.
Other Information: Thor's pedigree includes some of the worlds best brededing lines and some of the all time 'greats' - von Harlekin, Allours, and of course his Grandfather was Champion Dainoak Veni Vidi Vici (UK Top Harlie 5 consective years, 11 Best In Shows). Thor's Mum is now 10 years old, retired after winning Veteran bitch atCrufts 2007, and was Top Harlequin 2000, Reserve to World Champion in Amsterdam in 2002.
