Health Checks: Zorbre is almost 9 years of age, he was hip scored at the aged of three and his score was an immpressive 4/4, total of 8. He has never had any problem with his health and never visited a vet apart from to have his hips scored. A very strong and healthy male who we hope will live well into double figures.
Your History with the breed: The Jerivindi DDB Kennel was established in 1998 with the purchase of our very first DDB River. Since then we have owned or bred some excellent quality DDB. Our dogues have made history, and many have won Top awards in England, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, and America. Since 2003 our dogues have won some of the most important awards such as TOP DDB, Top Stud Dog DDB, Top Puppy DDBand Top Brood Bitch DDB all in the UK. No other UK DDB kennel have been as consisitant in their wins or awards, and in 2007 we were presented the TOP BREEDER Trophey by the father of the Breed Himself Prof. Raymond Tirquet at the SADB. I myself now judge the breed which has been something I feel honoured to do, and write for the breed notes in Dog World, again something I feel was a great honour to be asked to do. Myself and my husband are both very passionate about the breed and will continue to do this breed proud.
Details of litters previously sired: Zorbre has sired a few litters in his time some of his most memorable offspring will be SWEDISH FINNINSH INT. CHAMPION Jerivindi Cleopatra, Jerivindi Distinctive Dream who is TOP WINNING BROOD BITCH DDB in the UK 2005, 2006, and 2007! Other kennels to benifit using Zorbre is the Emberez Kennel who bred MULTI and INT. CH. Emberez Apollo who of course was sired by Zorbre and there female Emberez Aphrodite who won Best Bitch at the SADB who again was sired by Zorbre. These are only a few of Zorbre's offspring to do well in the show ring, there are many many Champions out there who were sired by Zorbre.
Requirements for visiting Bitches: Bitches must be healthy, over 22 months of age, of a good example, and progesterone tested.
