Description:

Adding freezing medium to the centrifuged semen. Placed in the fridge for approximately 4 hours and then commence freezing procedure, protocol as per University of Vienna, Animal Reproduction Department.

Placing frozen straws into liquid nitrogen (minus 196c). Liquid nitrogen levels in the semen tanks are regularly topped up via a local company under contract.

Description:
This container (dryshipper) has been especially designed and complies with airline and shipping regulations. This container keeps the frozen semen for up to 14 days.

Each consignment of frozen straws, the dry shipper is charged with liquid nitrogen to activate a safe temperature in which to store the frozen straws.
